London: Sinclair-Stevenson. 2000. An unusual signed item from the American biologist who shared the 1962 Nobel Prize in Medicine for discovering the function and structure of DNA, providing the prime impetus for further research in the emerging fields of molecular genetics and biochemistry. A paperback copy of "Genesis" (in a translation by Sidney Brichto), signed in blue ballpoint ink on the title page, "J.D. Watson," and initialled, "JD," on the front cover. Our consignor received this autograph in person and recalls that Watson noted when signing that "this will be worth a fortune someday!"
